It’s been a very impressive start to the season for both the Boorowa senior teams with the Gators and Crocs scoring good wins last Saturday.

The Crocs travelled to Murrumbateman for their first game of the season after their round one game was a washout.
They made the perfect start by winning the toss and batting first although the early overs were slow going.
James Green and Phil Coggins reached 17 before Green was caught at point.
Coggo suffered a similar fate with the score on 37.
Jye Paterson and Blake Anderson took the side to drinks at 2/65 and ready to launch an assault in the last 20 overs.
That’s exactly what they did on the back of a stylish knock by Paterson who was unselfishly run out for 107 on the last ball of the innings.
It was a classy century by Jye that provided the backbone of a very competitive 8/197.
In reply, the Crocs destroyed the top order early to have the Bateman lads in all sorts at 3/5. They recovered slightly to reach 3/53 but once the top order was gone the tail offered little resistance to be rolled for just 98.
Best of the Boorowa bowlers was Nick Dwyer, Chris Dwyer and Byron Campbell.
Meanwhile at Harden the Gators also batted first but struggled on a very difficult turf wicket early on.
They played very well to post a competitive total largely due to a determined 62 by Brendon Shean who played a great opener’s hand. He was well supported by Mick Canellis with a handy 35 as they posted a useful 150.
The Gators bowlers backed up the batting with Andrew Burns and Mitch Clarke leading the way knocking over the Harden side for 90 and with two good wins first up the Gators look like a very handy unit.
This weekend the Gators head to Dalton to take on the Dingos in what should be a high scoring game. The Dalton ground is usually hard and fast where boundaries are plentiful.
Meanwhile the Crocs have their first home game of the season against the Aussie Pirates. The Pirates usually boast a handy attack that will be out to exploit the new Boorowa wicket.
