Our cricket season is about to kick off but it was already under way in 1917, with the Boorowa Federals going down to Binalong in the Grounds Cup.
Word of the deaths of a number of Binalong soldiers in WW1 was also published and men were also asked to help dig out rabbits near Kenyu.
