After months of preparation, the flagship event of the Boorowa Business Chamber – the Gala Awards evening – culminated on Saturday night with Boorowa Real Estate winning the Golden Shamrock Award.

President of the Boorowa Business Chamber, Michael Ward, said it was a fantastic night.
“Tonight is a night of celebration, a night to recognise excellence. It’s amazing that 92 businesses in Boorowa were nominated for the business awards. Well over 300 individual nominations, that’s stunning.”
Guest speakers on the night included Boorowa’s own Cathy Walsh, who gave the audience some advice on how to successfully run a small business.
The Member for Goulburn, the Hon. Pru Goward MP and Hilltops Administrator Wendy Tuckerman also addressed the crowd, speaking about the importance of investing into regional Australia.

- XXXX Gold People’s Choice Award – Business: Boorowa Pharmacy
- Lions’ People’s Choice Award – Employee: Amanda Shean
- Carlton United Brewery Business Award – Retail Service: Boorowa Hardware
- Priam Australia Business Award – Hospitality Service: Town Clock Coffee Shop
- Hilltops Council Business Award – Trade Service: A L Banks Builder
- CSIRO Business Award – Rural Service: D&R Hanns
