Officers from the Cootamundra LAC Target Action Group attended an address in Murringo Gap Road at about 5.00pm on Sunday, July 23.
Police were acting on information they received through Crime Stoppers.
The property was searched, and an elaborate Cannabis hydroponic growing system was located inside a shipping container.
A 35-year-old Murringo man was arrested and taken to the Young Police Station where he was charged with cultivation offences and will appear at the Young Local Court on September 13, 2017.

Cootamundra LAC Acting Inspector Kristin Marshall said the plants and equipment have been seized by police.
"The marijuana we confiscated has an estimated street value of $150,000," she said.
"So the good work of our police and the diligence of the public has stopped these drugs from ending up on the streets of Young.
"We want the public to know that all information that is provided to police from Crime Stoppers is followed up."
Acting Inspector Marshall said when police knocked on the front door, the resident was cooperative and allowed police to search his property.
"The crop appeared to be newly established but well designed, and if not for the awareness of the public it may have been able to grow to larger quantities,” she said.
Acting Inspector Marshall said all avenues of investigation were exhausted before police took action.
"This is another example of how well the police and the community can work together," she said.
“In fact, the community and police work together on a daily basis in a positive way and we encourage people to contact police or Crime Stoppers, which can be done anonymously if they see anything suspicious in their neighbourhoods.”
