Boorowa bowler Brett Standford has represented NSW at the National Wheelchair and Disability Bowls competition held last week at Raymond Terrace.

Brett was first reserve for the Pairs Triples and Fours.
He played four games in the Singles, winning two and running close in the other two.
Brett is a regular player in the Boorowa Ex-Services No. 6 Pennant team.
He gratefully acknowledges the help he has received in his bowling career from local bowlers Des Grimson, Bill Luxford and Garry Dwyer.
At last Thursday’s social bowls, President John Crowe won the competition with 29 points, followed by Graham Jenkins and Tony Deverson on 28 and Daryl Murphy third on 25.
The monthly aggregate taken over four weeks was won for the first time by new bowler Graham Jenkins closely followed by old hand Dick Mattress and Binalong Bushranger Ned Kelly in third.
Social bowls are on as usual on Thursday weather permitting.
