The Boorowa RSL Sub-branch has released the schedule for the ANZAC Day events in Boorowa and Rugby for 2017.

It all starts at 6am with Boorowa’s Dawn Service at the Boorowa War Memorial followed by a BBQ Gunfire Breakfast at the rear of the War Memorial with tea and coffee at approximately 6.20am.
The Rugby Dawn Service will take place at 6.30am with a march from Memorial Hall to Memorial Gate, followed by breakfast in Memorial Hall after the service.
Marchers are to gather at the at Boorowa Post Office at 10am, with the march taking place at 10.15am ahead of the 11am Boorowa Service.
The Dr Kelf Park Commemoration of planting of Lone Pine Tree replacement will take place at 11.45am.
ANZAC Day lunch will be held at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club at 12pm for 12.30pm for veterans, service personnel, war widows and RSL Members.

The War Memorial will be open to the public from 2pm till 4pm.
Two-up will take place at the Ex-Services Club after lunch.
Notice concerning the timing of the Anzac Day March in Boorowa in 2017
This year and in future the commencement time of the Anzac Day March in Boorowa will be brought forward to 10.15am departure from outside the Post Office.
The Boorowa RSL sub-Branch will be providing a marshaller to organise marchers and all those intending to march should arrive in the area adjacent to the Post Office by 10am in order to form up and step off at 10.15am.
This is being done to coordinate the one minute’s silence at the War Memorial to be as close to 11am as possible.
