Boorowa Swimming Club Committee would like to thank all the swimmers for their wonderful efforts in the pool this year. Another thank you goes to the parents and friends who have given their time and help with putting the lane ropes in, taking them out, time keeping and/or cooking the barbeque. Without adults putting their hand up to volunteer their time whilst their children are swimming, the nights would not be able to run, and what better place to be able to watch and encourage your children to swim from, than the pool deck!
The biggest thank you of all, as Mick Hinds expressed on Saturday night, must go to Gary Harton. Gary spends most afternoons each day, walking the pool deck and training any swimming club members who wish to improve their swimming, he gives up each and every Friday night to be the starter for our kids races, to supervise their swimming and give them advice and tips whenever they ask.
We look forward to seeing you all again, and any new members wanting to join in the fun, in the 2015/16 season. It will be here before you know it!
