Fantastic opportunity for a Group FP&A Manager who will provide timely and valuable business insights and analysis to support management to formulate effective strategy, and who will transform strategy into actionable plans through managing the Group’s planning cycle.
What you’ll do
- Provide thought leadership and insights to drive improved business performance - including challenging the status quo and identifying and reporting on key financial and operational indicators.
- Responsible for leading and developing the Group Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function - combining a thorough knowledge of accounting and finance issues with business acumen.
- Have ownership and responsibility for the planning cycle which include but is not limited to monthly board reporting, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, five year plan, working capital and net debt analysis and detailed value add analysis supporting all of the above.
- Represent a business unit on our Group Investment Committee, performing commercial assessments of all significant transactions (including M&A, leases, property development) proposed by the unit, conducting appropriate due diligence, completing governance procedures and reviewing legal contracts.
What you’ll bring
- Self-starter with a flair for identifying and analysing business performance drivers and implementing analytical tools and processes.
- Ability to distil key messages and clearly present findings to senior management.
- CA/CFA qualified – with extensive knowledge and experience in leading planning cycles in complex environments. Strong technical accounting experience, preferably from a professional services firm.
- Experience in evaluating commercial projects.
