Several vehicles have been entered by thieves with various items stolen.
A vehicle was stolen from Queen Street last week and recovered the following day in Young.
The theft also occurred of a motor bike from Boorowa and another motor bike stolen from a break in at a farm near town.
Another car stolen from Young was located in Boorowa on the weekend, and Police are of the view that all these offences are linked.
Suspects have been identified with arrests expected in the near future.
Most of the thefts have occurred where vehicles are left unlocked and sometimes with keys left in the vehicle.
Please consider security of your vehicles and homes.
Make it harder for these undesirables to take your property.
Lock your homes and cars.
Don't leave spare keys in cars, park in driveways or behind closed gates, park under lights if on the street and maybe consider installing security lighting on your home and call police if any suspicious activity is observed.
Boorowa Police have been moved into alignment with Young and are now part of the Hume Police District which will hopefully see police working more in Boorowa rather than larger centres.
Hopefully we will get on top of these offenders soon.
Any assistance or information provided to police is always appreciated.
