Skewes is facing five charges, including two counts of remaining in a licensed premises after he was refused admission to both the Union Hotel and the WIlliam Farrer Hotel.
The 64-year-old is also charged with behaving in an offensive manner within view of a public place, attempting to re-enter a licensed premises and refusing to comply with a direction.
Skewes launched an appeal after he was sentenced to imprisonment by magistrate Brian Van Zuylen in Wagga Local Court on Friday.
Police allege the Kooringal man was refused entry at both venues and attempted to re-enter them between 5pm and 8pm on August 27.
Appearing in court via video link from Junee Correctional Centre, Skewes sat with his head in his hands and didn’t raise it throughout the proceedings.
He will return to court on November 3 for the appeal.
