Partnering with local vets and the Young Regional Farmers Markets, Hilltops Council will be hosting the first of three free microchipping days for dogs across the region, at Anderson Park in Young on Saturday 21 October 2017 from 9.00am until 12.00pm.
In addition to a microchip, pet owners will also receive necessary information to enable pet registration, along with information on vaccination, and de-sexing services available in the Hilltops Region.
Pet owners are assured that the microchips will be implanted by a qualified person and are asked to ensure that their dogs are on a leash on the day.
Dog owners are advised to register their interest by filling out a form – available on Council’s website – to avoid disappointment on the day.
Council’s free microchipping offer is only available to residents of Hilltops Council.
Proof of address may be required on the day.
Boorowa and Harden will be holding similar events in 2018 so keep an eye on Council’s website and social media for details.
