Sheppard’s delight

Last Saturday, September 16, golfers played for Richard Platt's trophy in a stableford competition.

Gary Sheppard must have been delighted with his score of 39 points which was best on the day and won him the trophy.

Consistently in the prizes these days and coming a very close second was Phil Johnston with 38 points.

Simon Pye's 37 points positioned him in third place giving him the ball comp win.

Two golfers, Robyn Smith and Gary Sheppard, were nearest the pin winners.

Next Saturday, September 23, The Rec Club is hosting the Boorowa Woolfest golf competition as a stroke event.

Everyone is welcome to come along and play in this event as no handicap is required, so women, men and children are all invited.
