Boorowa Men's Golf Championship was contested over 54 holes last Saturday and Sunday with all golfers playing off scratch without handicaps being considered in the final score.

The tournament consisted of both A and B grade sections.
The overall Club Champion for 2017 is Phil Johnston who carded a 54 hole, 226 strokes score.
Congratulations Phil on your first golf championship win.
Well done Roger Mason for coming second with 237 strokes.
Both Phil and Roger came from the A grade group of players.
Congratulations also to Gary Sheppard as winner of the B grade section with 260 strokes and Greg Atkins' 267 strokes ensuring him B grade runner up.
Several players secured nearest to the pin prizes over the weekend.
Simon Pye and Roger Mason had success in this area on Saturday with Simon on the 4th hole and Roger on the 3rd hole and 6th hole.
Despite the blustery conditions on Sunday, four golfers hit some great tee shots to enable them to take home nearest the pin prizes.
Those players being Michael Tuckerman, 8th hole, Phil Johnston, 5th hole, Russell George, 3rd hole and Robert Dunwoodie, 6th hole.
Well done to all golfers particularly in Sunday's challenging conditions.
No golf is scheduled for next Saturday, September 9, as the course will be closed due to the Rec Club hosting a car show.
However the following Saturday, September 16, Richard Platt's stroke competition is scheduled.
