All were greeted warmly with the heaters on early then later in the morning stripped down to just the shirt for competition in near perfect conditions after the water pipes had thawed.
The Club appreciates the sponsorship from Kim, Casey and Dougie Cooper for their input into Barry’s Memorial Handicap event which was won by our club member, Darryl Reed from Murrumbateman after a three way shoot off Daryl managed the win and gained the maximum handicap of 25 metre, congratulations Darryl.
The Dennis Smith mixed target event wad won outright by club member Justin Smith 103/105, excellent shooting Justin, who is now in America to compete in several major events over the next five weeks, we which him all the best. The club also extends appreciation to Angela, Dennis’ daughter who arrived early from Bathurst and stayed till late to present the trophies for her dad’s memorial event.
The Boorowa Gun Club is hosting the Central Zone Carnival, this coming Saturday, July 29, commencing at 9am we expect a similar number of competitors travelling in from various regional centers vying fir selection to compete at NSW state titles to be held at Wagga in early October.
