Interest is building in the September inaugural Hilltops Shire Council elections. We should all be thinking ‘Hilltops,’ and what amazing strengths our region possesses over all sectors of the economy.

We have been blessed to have the likes of Administrator Wendy Tuckerman whose political ability has been invaluable in the early establishment of the Hilltops region. So too are the extraordinary abilities of CEO Anthony McMahon whom we are so fortunate to have with his impressive skills working within the corporate world. It will be great to see good, strong, positive campaigns by all those looking to represent the Hilltops Shire as leaders.

The Boorowa Business Chamber Awards draw closer, there were 92 businesses nominated in seven different categories for the Awards. Now all the finalists are being processed by the independent judging panel.

The BBC Awards will culminate in an evening dinner and fun presentation night on Saturday, July 29, 7pm at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club Auditorium. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Corporate table of eight guests $300, Corporate table of 10 guests $375.

You are most welcome to invite your friends, family and staff for a fun night full of music and entertainment.
