Forty per cent, or 666 residents in Boorowa said they were Catholic, compared to only 22.6% of the national population. 

26.7 per cent of residents identify as Anglican, 3.9% are affiliated with the Uniting Church, whilst 22.3 of the local population either have no religion or did not state a religion.
