A dominant second half performance by the Harden Hawkettes saw Boorowa overpowered to the tune of 56-6 in the league tag last Saturday.

The Hawkettes have lost just once to the all-conquering Bungendore Tigerettes but do look as though they may at least be able to challenge the Bungendore girls in the big end of season matches.
The Roverettes matched the Hawkettes early on before Harden ran in the first of four tries in the half.
The Hawkettes skipped away to a 20-0 lead before the Roverettes gave themselves some hope scoring a try through Mackella Pye which was converted just before half time to make the oranges score 20-6.
The Hawkettes quickly snuffed out any chance of a Boorowa revival after just one minute of the second half to go ahead 24-6.
The flood gates opened midway through the second half as the Hawkettes ran riot to post five more second half tries for a final score line of 56-6.
It was a tough day for the locals but they showed plenty of spirit against a hot Hawkettes outfit.
In the other game of the round Gunning 14 beat Binalong 6.
Boorowa take on The Binalong jersey girls this weekend in a game that could have a huge bearing on fifth spot.
Boorowa currently have fifth spot but Binalong are just two points behind in sixth.
The girls will be working hard this week and have shown plenty of resilience this season after a loss.
The league tag will kick off at the slightly earlier time of 1pm at the Binalong recreation ground.
