This forum offers landholders a great opportunity to hear information on current pasture and livestock research and to network with others in the industry.
Session themes to this year’s conference include ‘the big picture’, ‘filling the feed gap’, ‘opportunities’ and ‘technology’.
The conference will be opened by two well respected and notable speakers in the grazing industry, Richard Norton, Managing Director, MLA and Bill Malcolm, University of Melbourne Department of Agriculture and Food Systems.
Richard Norton will discuss the Australian red meat industry and the path to long-term prosperity while Bill Malcolm will tackle ‘Strife and Opportunity in Australian Agriculture: Here and Now and Over the Horizon’.
Other topics for discussion over the two days include:

The conference also includes a bus tour where attendees can choose from three options, each tour takes in several different enterprises in the Mandurama/Woodstock, Gooloogong/Canowindra or Cowra/Greenthorpe districts.
The full conference package including lunches, morning and afternoon teas on both days and dinner on Tuesday, July 25, is $260 for Grassland Society of NSW members and $330 for non-members.
