Helen is a former Vice President and a tireless worker of the Auxiliary since she moved to Boorowa seventeen years ago.
President Judy McGuiness presented Helen with a beautiful handcrafted wooden gift on behalf of all the members.
Helen thanked the members and acknowledged the wonderful work of the Auxiliary and said she had never worked with such a great group of ladies whose aim it is to help our local hospital, which is so necessary for a small community.
We wish Helen and Lee well in their new and exciting move to Canberra.
They will both be very much missed in our community.
Our next fundraising event is on Tuesday, September 26 at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club where a luncheon and Fashion Parade will be held.
The Closet from Cowra and Boorowa will show their fabulous new spring fashions for ladies of all ages.
So mark the day on the calendar!
