In their first game of wet weather football for the year some basic fundamentals saw the boys trailing 12-nil after ten minutes.

Even with Bailey McKinnon, Billy Fogg and Harry McMahon executing some great try saving tackles the Kangaroos managed to put on five unanswered tries before Angus Whybrow took off down the sideline to score in the corner on the bell Kangaroos winning 32-20.
