New comer Matthew Young showed he is going to fit right in with some great running of the football and some great tackles.
Mackenzie Hambrook and Amy Manwaring made some great tackles and had fantastic runs off the football.
There were a lot of textbook tackles made by all but Bailey Tarrant and Alexander McMillian lead from the front.
As always Xander Howard-Allison and Bentley Daries had a great game with showing plenty of great skills and moves throughout the game.
Well done Under 6's you all played a fantastic game.
The Harden/Boorowa Steggles Under 7’s
The Tigers got away to a two try lead early but the BushHawks kept attacking the line, with great runs by Justin, Hamish and Phoenix.
We levelled the scores with more powerful runs from Cooper, Deklan and Tarell.
The Tigers kept attacking with their speed men only to be met by a punishing defence by Kirsten, Harry, Angus and Bailey.
Although the BushHawks were tackling anything that moved, the Tigers got us narrowly.
An excellent effort for Round 2.
Particularly good catching and passing.

Harden/Boorowa Under 10’s League Tag
The girls had a terrific game against Gundagai at Adelong on the weekend.
It was a terrific start to the game with a great kick-off by Eliza Taylor going straight to the defence.
Both teams opened strong but not long into the game Eliza Taylor proved to strong for the defence, charging up the middle and opening up the score.
Gundagai followed that quick scoring with two tries making it 12-4 in favour of Gundagai.
The girls were defending strong and minutes before half time Ellie McIntosh went over the line followed by a successful conversion by Amber McKay.
Gundagai were determined to get more points on the board leading the half time score 24-10.
The girls went out with their heads held high holding Gundagai out for the first five minutes until Gundagai scored and successfully converted changing the score 30-10.
With plenty of time left Emma Craig then proved to strong for the defence charging through the line to score an amazing try.
Successfully converted by Leila Cayfe.
The girls defended hard and attacked great with some great runs from Delilah Cross and Paige Brown to leave the final score at 30-16.
Overall a great game for the girls.

The Harden/Boorowa Under 13’s
Last Saturday saw our diehard Under 13’s Rugby League team travel to Adelong to take on the mountain men of Gundagai/Adelong.
The Bush Hawks only had ten players make the trip but thankfully Jack McMahon and Dan Canellis from the Under 11’s team stayed on to play up an age group.
Both boys didn’t disappoint, showing courage, determination and some pretty handy ball skills.
It was a beautiful day in Adelong hills and it was great to see the League Tag Girls form the tunnel for the boys to take the field.
Joe Prosper made an immediate impact on attack with his fabulous big run and some defensive tackles in the opening minutes of the game.
Luke Dean is showing he is really stepping up this year with his continual pressure of the opposition kicker and some great tackling.
Paddy Davis made some hard hitting tackles and some great gains in obtaining territory.
Gundagai made the first score on the board, but our boys gathered themselves and found their momentum.
Dan Canellis was quick to run up and tackle and was rewarded with a quick steal and a great run.
Cooper Cross pushed through the opposition to score our first try.
Seth Hughston has also found his footy feet this season and this week was no exception, he stepped up to defuse some high bombs and was solid in defence.
Jack McMahon made some impressive runs and was fearless in taking some high balls.
Josh Flick showed he has made impressive improvement and made some long impressive runs, he took on some big opposition with hard tackles.
He threw an impressive flick pass (must be in the name).
Will Fahey ran the length of the field to tackle out a Gundagai player to save an imminent try by the opposition.
The team really found their stride and by the last ten minutes of the game they had the score even.
Unfortunately Gundagai team were able to push through in the last minutes of the game to win with a try to finish with a score of 26 to 22.
The boys played really well, Cooper scored three tries and one conversion, Will Fahey scored a try and so did Josh Flick.
This team will be the one to watch this season, with a lot of potential and determined players.

The side’s best were James Collins, Anthony Brown and were well supported by Josh Gurney.
The boys now prepare to take on Yenda in Wagga on Saturday and look for their first win of the season.
Harden Light Horse and Boorowa Courthouse Hotel Under 15's League Tag Girls
The newly formed Under 15 Girls League Tag team again proved they have what it takes to match their opponents given their infancy in the comp.
In just their second competition game the girls played competitively as a team and continued to impress against Gundagai/Adelong on Saturday going down by the closest of margins 8-10.
The girls were both solid in defence and attack with Abbey Davis and Erin Alcorn scoring two exciting tries in the second half to take their team to the lead until the final minutes.
A gap in defence allowed the opposition to score the winning try with only minutes left on the clock.
Loren Daley, Abbey Davis and Erin Alcorn threw everything into stopping the opposition with some gutsy tagging with Bridie Minehan and Chloe Wade proving safe as houses in fullback position.
Lexie Adam, Riley Southwell and Hayley Chesworth had their work cut out defending their wings but were solid in their defence.
Olivia Doolan led the charge with her on field kicking forcing the opposition back and impressive run ups from Marlie McIntosh, Jasmin Chesworth, Kaylah Edwards, Beth O’Connor and Katie-Rose O’Connor saw the girls attacking in the opposition’s half for the majority of the second half.
Dummy-halves Abbey Wade and Amelia Leitner-Ford delivered accurate passing directing team plays which added variety to their attack.
Coach Adam Wade will look to iron out a few areas on the training paddock but is impressed with the girls’ skills, enthusiasm and commitment.
