Boorowa Gun Club held its very successful Anzac shoot on Saturday, April 22, attracting 65 competitors from all over the state, including ACTA Hall of Fame member Mr John Sleightholme from Tamworth and Wendy Barton from Yass plus many other areas including Sydney, Berrima, Bargo, Wagga as well as local shooters.

In Event 1, the Boorowa Anzac Day Handicap, first was Rex Murphy, second was David Crane followed by Theo Leonatas.
In Event 2, the George Campbell Memorial, the Overall winner was Frazer Roberts with a perfect 125/125. David Crane took out the AA ahead of Justin Smith. Kay Hunt placed first in A Grade ahead of Ray Schiller. Brian Frost took out the B Grade with Sharon McDonald second. Eddie Cummin took out C Grade ahead of Adam Boswell.
In Event 3, the NSW Night Continental Pointscore Championship, the overall winner was once again Frazer Roberts with 149/150. Justin Smith took out the AA Grade ahead of Phill Wales and Bryce Hallum won A Grade.
John Varoutos took out B Grade, with Matt Lawer second. Dempsey Farrell Grey won C Grade ahead of Sharon Shromoch.
The Overall Winner of the High Gun event was Frazer Roberts, the Ladies title went to Amy Smith. Junior title went to Corey Lees and the Veteran went to Guilio Serafin.

George was a returned serviceman who had a strong association with the local RSL branch and the Boorowa Gun Club and is fondly remembered by all.
