The girls were a little apprehensive but after two strong training runs they knew what to expect and completely dominated, winning all three games.
All the players were outstanding, with all girls making plenty of tackles and having lots of runs.
The support play was outstanding with no one wanting to die with the ball, which culminated in some outstanding tries.
Captain Grace Barker led by example, scoring five tries and crippling the opposition in defence.
Marnie Halls scored an outstanding try, Hunter Ings was dynamic, Clair Flick made a great run and the action just seemed to seek Clair Howlett.
Abbey Grant was a real standout, with some strong runs and great defence, while Holly Blom and Grace Taylor couldn't hide and also contributed with some runs and tackles.
Ellie McMahon was the rock of the side with continued strong charges up the middle and uncompromising defence.
Katie O’Connor was also outstanding, saving a try with a devastating tackle over the line,as well scoring herself.
Steph Piper scooped the pool, playing strongly for boorowa, then helping Turvey Park and coming home with two jumpers!
The highlight for the girls was obviously meeting the 'Hogs for the Homeless' team, led by Brad Fittler and Steve Menzies.
It was an outstanding day of girls tackle football and is the way of future for rugby league.
