Last Thursday, February 16, our St. Joseph’s School Swimming squad headed over to Cootamundra to participate in the annual Western Region Catholic Schools Swimming Carnival.

20 students from Year 2 to Year 6 represented the school in their age groups for 50m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke, The Individual Medley, 100m Freestyle and the 50m Relays.
Congratulations to all the members of the squad for their exceptional swimming on the day and for the support and encouragement shown to each other throughout what was a very hot day!
Many PB’s were swum on this day.
Also congratulations to our Junior Boys and Junior Girls relay teams on their Third Places, and to Archie and Noah Coble who both placed Second in the 50m Freestyle.
Noah also placed fourth in the 50m Breaststroke.
Congratulations to Harry Dymock who placed 4th in 50m Freestyle.
All three boys will now participate in the Archdiocesan Swimming Carnival, to be held at Boorowa Pool on February 28.
