There were 10 entrants consisting of Hereford, Angus, Red Angus and Shorthorn herds spread over the Boorowa shire.

The judges were Marc Greening from Injemira Herefords at Wagga and Andrew Harbourne from Greenleaf Angus at Crookwell.
Both judges had extensive judging experience and passion for the beef industry.

Judging was based on commercial attributes and how well they were meeting their target markets and aims and objectives of their herd.
There were 20 spectators that went around with the judges on the bus which was supplied by the major sponsors which were Thompsons Rural Supplies and Corkhills Ag.
