Last Saturday saw a strong field contest a Club Trophy played as a stableford event. Some great scores were carded resulting a loss of handicap strokes for some. Winner on the day was Richard Hall with an impressive round of 44 stableford points, with runner up being Anthony Walters with an also impressive 42 stableford points.

Next Saturday, February 11, The Shaz and Jen Trophy will be contested and if last year’s event is anything to go by it will be an absolute cracker with all players teeing off, the ladies tees and the mandatory tee trivia quiz contributing to the final scores.
Don't forget the Boorowa Golf Club A.G.M. at 6.30 pm Monday, February 13 with all members asked to attend and nominate for committee positions as all will declared vacant.
As no written rules of play for The Gungewalla Cup and Hagon Cup have been able to be procured by the Club, it has been determined by the current golf committee to formulate a set of rules for qualification to contest this historic event. A draft of these rules will be posted on the Rec Club bar notice board for all golf members perusal and suggestions.
