The Boorowa Business Chamber is the ideal vehicle to promote the requirements of our region and assist those that represent us.
Cost to join the Chamber is minimal, it is the strength of voice that is of high value.
This coming September will see the Hilltops Shire vote to establish 11 Council members to direct and control the affairs of our region.
Each member will have a hand in developing the community strategic plan, long term planning documents, allocating ratepayers money and making sound financial decisions to ensure the sustainability of council, develop and review councils policies, objectives and performance in delivery of services.
As a community we hope that this is achieved without bias and that works and future developments are done on a ‘necessity compels’ basis. Unfortunately politics often does not follow this route. Boorowa and surrounds will need a strong voice to support our requirements in a diligent and businesslike manner and to support those that represent us in every way possible.
I urge every business owner and every ratepayer to join the Boorowa Business Chamber and assist the promotion of Hilltops Shire.
Your vote in September is a must. BBC Full membership $30, Associate membership $15 boorowabusinesschamber@gmail.com or mail; BBC, P.O.Box 89, Boorowa 2586, NSW.

As business owners, there is one message that comes through loud and clear to us all, and that is how beautifully Boorowa as a town is presented.
The Hilltops Shire and our local council staff do an amazing job of keeping Boorowa in the most presentable state possible. There is precision in their work and as one visitor commented, there is evidence of care and pride in your town’s gardens.
There is also significant praise for the newly formatted ‘Boorowa beautiful’ booklet produced by the Hilltops Shire, many visitors impressed that there is so much to do in Boorowa and the region.
Fire season is upon us and with significant dry feed as the unfortunate fuel, we are most grateful to the skilled volunteers that give their time so generously often at cost to their own business. This great quality is what sets rural towns apart, the sense of community and a willingness to help those that are threatened or in need.
