A spokesperson from the Department said the community can use the meeting to raise any concerns and its views will be taken into consideration during the Department’s assessment.
The public meeting will be held at Boorowa Ex-Services & Citizens Club, at 55/59 Pudman St, Boorowa between 6pm - 8pm on Tuesday, October 25.
“Community consultation is a vital part of the planning process,” a spokesperson said.
“Information on the planning process will be provided by Department representatives who will be able to answer the community’s questions about the assessment.
“The Environmental Impact Statement for this proposal is currently on public exhibition until 18 November, so the community will have time to make submissions after the meeting.
“The community’s feedback from this meeting and submissions made during consultation will be taken into account during the Department’s assessment.”
More information about the proposal can be found on the Major Projects website.
