These include the ability to increase how much rain they use on farm as data indicates that only around 25% is used while half is lost due to inefficiencies in production systems.
Research shows that reasonably small changes to management can double rainfall used for production.
Secondly most landholders do not know whether they are/should be actually maximising profit or production.
Thirdly landholders may not realise that the most important elements the long term viability of their farm businesses are controlled by them on the farm.

A series of information sessions are being organised to gauge interest for a workshop series covering farm management.
