The Irish Woolfest scheduled for Sunday, October 2 is still currently planned to go ahead.
“At this stage we are hopeful the weather on Sunday will still allow Woolfest to continue as planned,” Council’s General Manager Anthony McMahon said.
Council has planned detours in place which are subject to change dependent upon road conditions following forecast rainfall.
“At this stage traffic detours will be as advertised, however as we get closer to the event an assessment of suitability will be made and if required an alternate detour will be enacted,” Mr McMahon said.
