This is a story of two neighbours, two very vociferous Rugby League supporters, very keen football supporters apart from one problem, they supported different teams.

One is a very keen supporter of St George Dragons, the fellow next door, Cronulla Sharks.
These fellows are so keen they advertise their allegiances on their recycling bins for all to see.
Now I don’t know if this is putting rubbish on supporters of other teams or putting rubbish on each other, then again, they could be inviting rubbish to be put on them.
St George are not going too well at the moment and Cronulla’s effort to win their first ever premiership seemed to look so promising until the last few weeks.
Cronulla suffered three losses in a row, including, and wouldn’t you know it, St George, who inflicted another loss two weekends ago.
This leaves us with several questions. Firstly, are the neighbours still neighbourly, secondly, are allegiances wavering and thirdly, is there a probability of the recycling bins being filled with their respective collections of Rugby League memorabilia and a ‘For Sale’ sign being displayed with the bin.
The next few weeks are crucial to both teams and some of our questions may be answered.
Ultimately the big question,”Will the neighbourly neighbours be neighbourly?”
“Who are these two fanatics?” you might ask.
A clue – one lives next door to the Uniting Church, the other next to him.
