Our students from 5/6 also travelled out to a local property to plant some trees.
At the site the students met Mr. Rob Young and learnt about the importance of planting trees in the rural setting.
The trees are used for protection of crops and stock from all sorts of weather conditions, provide nutrients and encourage fungus growth. They then spent the day planting 250 trees.
It was an incredible experience and one the Year Six students will share with PLC when they come to Boorowa in September.
