It is now that the residents and business people of Boorowa need to join with the Boorowa Business Chamber (BBC) in establishing a vehicle for a 'Strong Voice."
Residents and business owners can join the BBC as numbers make for 'Lobbying Success!'
Full Membership $30 offers business advertising and web links on the BBC website.
Associate Membership $15 lists membership on the website with both memberships receiving updates from BBC meetings.
Some of the issues at the forefront are:
- Support growth and assisting new business to establish in Boorowa.
- Assisting a permanent solution for Boorowa township water supply.
- Protecting Boorowa's interests in services such as electricity, district land line and mobile issues.
- Lobby for road upgrades such as the Lachlan Valley Way overtaking lanes.
- A voice for Boorowa and the outlying villages of Rye Park, Rugby, Frogmore and Reids Flat.
Both full members and associate members are not required to attend meetings however an invitation to attend will always be extended, and participation welcomed.
There are exciting times ahead with C.S.I.R.O. certainly going to make an impact within Boorowa in 2017.
