A dominant display by the Braidwood Bears big men proved too much to handle for the Boorowa Rovers going down by 44-12 at the Boorowa Showground.

It was the all-important sponsor's day, on which Boorowa paid tribute to its many contributors that have got a team back on the park this year.
In perfect conditions for football, the Rovers again showed plenty of spirit, however dropped ball, too many penalties and some crucial defensive lapses cost the locals dearly.
On the positive side, Boorowa's problems can be eliminated as the side does have enough talent to push the more experienced teams.
Coach Stuart Gay, will no doubt be working overtime with the lads before their next match on Saturday week.
Boorowa once again got off to the perfect start with Jack Fahey darting over after just five minutes which was converted by Mick Hinds for a 6-0 lead.
The lead was short lived when the Braidwood inside centre ran 40 meters to score and level it up at 6-6.
It wasn't long before the Braidwood Forwards created space for another try and a 12-6 lead.
The Rovers got themselves into attacking positions only to cough up possession at critical times. Boorowa had the better field position but couldn't convert it into points.
Braidwood capitalised on Boorowa's mistakes turning defence into attack scoring off a cover kick through for a 16-6 lead.
Braidwood scored two more tries just before half time to blow the game wide open with a 28-6 lead at the break.
The second half was an arm wrestle for the first twenty minutes with both sides conceding undisciplined penalties.
The match began to become quiet heated and whilst Boorowa managed several raids on the Bears line, they were unable to breach it.
Jack Hinds made a great try saving tackle but the Boorowa defence eventually cracked in the second half as Braidwood crossed through their winger.
Boorowa conceded a couple of silly penalties putting further pressure on themselves and paid the price with two more tries to the Bears to make the score 44-6.
Murray Armour crossed for a late consolation try for the locals to leave the final score at 44-12.
The points for the day went to Tom Carnell 3, Willis Arber 2 and Jack Fahey 1 whilst the Fabstock player of the day was Mick Hinds.
Big Bustling Joe Banks enjoyed the player's player mug for the evening.
In other results last weekend, Bungendore kept the Gunning Roos scoreless winning 26-0, Harden ran out convincing winners over Boomanulla 42-10 whilst North Canberra put the cleaners through ADFA 84-0. Crookwell had the bye.
This week the Rovers have a much needed bye and will make the most of it in preparation for a huge game against the Boomanulla Raiders on Saturday May 28 at home.
Despite a few losses in recent weeks, this side is far from a spent force in 2016 and provided they can eradicate some costly mistakes are still capable of winning plenty of games.
Despite Jarryd Hayne having a dream of playing for the Rovers, there is no truth in the rumour he will play against Boomanulla next weekend. Possibly against ADFA the week after.
In other matches this weekend, Boomanulla take on the Gunning Roos, Harden host ADFA, Braidwood Bears take on North Canberra Bears and in what could be the match of the round Crookwell take on the Bungendore Tigers.
Don't forget to head to the home of the Rovers, the Courthouse Hotel Friday night at 7pm for your chance at the Jackpot Joker Draw now well over the $1300 mark.
The cards are thinning and so are the odds of winning the cash. Be there for a great night out.
Enjoy the footy this weekend where ever your travels take you.
