I am extremely disappointed in the non inclusion of our report on the Dawn Anzac Service at Rugby for 2016 either in last weeks' paper and this weeks Boorowa News.
We submitted an article and a photo in time for your last weeks' edition and you said, to do it justice, you would give it the required space this week as there was little space.
For the second week in a row there is a whole page advertisement for voting for the Senate and the Federal elections have not even been announced at the time of writing.
There was also a whole page of pictures for Boorowa's Anzac Day, with none from Rugby.
If it wasn't for "Word on the Street", (thank you John) one would not have been aware we existed. I would like to point out that our Dawn ANZAC Service is, on population, better attended than Boorowa' Dawn Service, not that this is an important factor on the day.
In a village of no more than 50 people, we had 65 attendees and Boorowa had 120.
This paper is supposed to represent the District and does not only circulate within town.
It would be nice if you, occasionally, considered the outlying villages of Boorowa, especially when we do the article, take the photos and submit them for you.
Thank you,
Margaret Kelly
Editor's Note: The Boorowa News would like to apologise for not yet including the Rugby Dawn Service report which can be read in full on Page 4.
We remind contributors that all articles are subject to space restraints and editing and ask that any articles be kept between 150-300 words.
Without contributors, the Boorowa News would cease to exist and I thank each and every one of them for their efforts.
