Service personnel, veterans, representatives from emergency services, local school students and residents lined the streets to watch the march before observing the morning service.
Boorowa RSL Sub-Branch President Phil Armitage said there was a wonderful turnout on the day.
"I was wrapped, it was a lovely day, we couldn't have had a better day," Mr Armitage said.
Mr Armitage also commended the 120 people who turned out for the Dawn Service.
"It was fantastic," Mr Armitage said.
The morning service was led by Commander Carmel Barnes and featured speakers from the RSL, local schools and the defence force.
The Boorowa M&D Choir also led the crowd in songs and hymns.
Boorowa Mayor Wendy Tuckerman said it was a wonderful day to commemorate the sacrifice of those who fought in war.
"I think it's been a great day to recognise the service that men and women have done in the past," Mayor Tuckerman said.
"I'm more than impressed with the community turnout."
Mayor Tuckerman said she also enjoyed the Dawn Service, which had a special guest.
"It was a great crowd," Mayor Tuckerman said.
"Very honoured to have Pru Goward MP at the Service."
The service was followed by a luncheon at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club and the traditional game of two-up.
Proceeds from the two-up would go towards Legacy.
