This was due to a crack down by the local area command on anti-social behaviour and alcohol related violence.

We have been able to convince the Licensing Sergeant that our meeting is very much family orientated and that bad behaviour will NOT be tolerated.

He has allowed us to continue with the current format for this year but has asked that we limit the beer to mid strength.

As in the past, we request that beer is to be in cans only and that glass be kept to an absolute minimum.

That is, wine may be brought in bottles but plastic glasses must be used.

The Committee would once again ask all attendees to maintain the high standard of behaviour that we have enjoyed in the past and thus ensure the future of this great day out.
