Jim did say that the track was a little firm but if we were to get some rain this week that, that would make all the difference.
He is also delighted with the installation of the new running rails around the turn coming into the home straight.
Jim also said that the boys have done a great job.
Once again the Licensing Sergeant has requested that patrons limit canned beer to Light or Mid Strength only.
We can still have wine in bottles but please bring plastic in glasses.
Hopefully we will be able to continue with BYO in the future as this adds to the picnic atmosphere of the day.
Tent site holders are reminded that you are responsible for the behaviour of your guests and that no underage drinking will be tolerated.
The Licensing Sergeant will be at the races and scrutinizing the behaviour of the patrons.
Polly Picker has done an amazing job on gaining support for Fashions on the Field.
So get into the swing of things, dress up and come along and enjoy a great family day out.
