Of course the project would not have been possible without the generous support of Bendigo Community Bank, the Court House Arts and Crafts Centre, a DVA grant, two anonymous donors and local business Penrose Motors.
We are also greatly indebted to many individuals who provided support in a number of ways, and especially to local service clubs and other organisations. Appreciation must go to those sub-Branch members who supported the project and endeavoured to ensure its success.
It is believed that through this project the local community made a significant contribution to the recognition of the Centenary of Anzac and to the service and sacrifice of local servicemen and women.
May I also include my own personal thanks to those who offered support and encouragement over the past three years.
