Tim Good played the best and scored an impressive 38 points to will the Ben Howell trophy with Simon Pye in second.
In the Sunday golfing event saw the Monthly Mug played for, with many of the players in contention for the title.
Only one rose up to greatness and that was Tim Good who again played very well with his new driving technique improving his distance and reducing the need to allow for his slice.
It helped him hit a 65 net, which was to good to those in the field. Next weekend on Saturday and Sunday will be the Men's Championship. Each days play will be over 27 holes, starting at 9am on each day.
A lunch will be provided so come along and enjoy a big weekend of serious golf.
The following weekend on the Sunday will see the Red Cross Charity day of bowls and golf.
You can put you name down as too which you want to play and stay with that for the day, this is always a good charity event so mark the 13th on the calendar and get alone for a fun outing.
A reminder that there is also games still to be played in the Rec Clubs internal championships so try to complete these as soon as possible please.
Remember it all happens at the Rec.
