Last summer Boorowa excelled fielding three teams, (two 10s and a s) in the Young cricket competition, with over 40 children playing, as well a hugely successful Milo cricket program.
Last season the organisation was a little ad hoc.
With two or three parents running junior cricket with no real plan or direction.
This season they plan on being much more prepared and are calling on any interested parents to attend a meeting at the Ex-Services Club on Thursday, September 3 at 7pm, to form a junior cricket committee to oversee all levels of junior cricket, including the running of Milo cricket.
The newly formed committee will be responsible for which direction junior cricket will take for the upcoming summer, we hope to see a healthy number of people at the meeting, ready to spring into another bumper summer of cricket.
