Roger Green and Simon Pye won the T. K. Dwyer trophy on Saturday with an excellent score of 47 stableford points.

A strong field entered the event with players been drawn from the hat for partners, runners up where Bob Styles and Russell George.
The trophy was played in conjunction with the south west calendars' qualifying round of a mixed four ball.
The qualifying couple were Suzanne and Richard Manning, who can now play the next round in Young which will help Suzanne as she enjoys playing on the Young course.
With Anzac Day on Saturday the Tony Gay Charity Golf Day will be played with the funds raised going towards the prevention of suicide, which is extremely important for the rural communities like Boorowa.
The day is always an enjoyable event with teams of 4 hitting off with a shot gun start from all the different holes on the course. Come along and get involved as this is a worthy event for all to participate in, both golfers and non-golfers.
With the cancellation of the Boorowa Picnic Races the Recreation Club will be holding a golf and bowls day on the 2nd of May.
The days events commence at 12pm with a two-person ambrose event and bowls being a pairs event. The events scoring will be elaborated further on the day to determine winners and placing in the two events.
Remember that it all happens at the Rec club. Thats the round up with Woodie.
