Marty McGrath was also selected but unfortunately had to withdraw at the last minute.
The day started with Majella swimming strongly in her 50m freestyle. Claire and Brock both set great personal bests in their 50m breaststroke events and Marlie took five seconds off her 50m butterfly time.
As the day progressed, Majella also swam well in her 50m breaststroke and backstroke races, Marlie performed well in her 50m backstroke and Brock had great 50m backstroke and freestyle races.
The day finished with Majella and Brock in their age group medley and freestyle relays. Congratulations to Brock who came home with a silver medal for his medley relay and gold in his freestyle relay.
A big thanks to Ingrid Corcoran for arranging the nominations for this event and to Gary Harton for his coaching and expertise in the lead up to the carnival.
