Boorowa Central School principal Jennifer Green said this year they want to encourage all students from the Boorowa community to march, not just students who attend Boorowa schools.
Students from Hennessy, Rye Park and Rugby schools will receive badges as well as students from St Joseph's Primary School and Boorowa Central.
Students who attend boarding schools but return to Boorowa to march with the community will also receive a badge.
While the Court House is the major contributor towards the project, Ms Green also acknowledged the number of people who have personally donated to the project too.
She said the badges will be sourced from the Australian Military Shop in Canberra, where our defence force also sources their badges.
"We're hoping for our biggest ever contingent of students marching," Ms Green said.
"The Anzac march in Boorowa is a big event. [By marching] you really get a sense of what Anzac Day is about. The Boorowa Remembers committee is really working to engage young people with the meaning of the Anzac commemorations which is fantastic. It ensures that when [our students] are adults, they'll still be marching to commemorate the [Anzacs'] sacrifice."
