Boorowa Council is set to hold four community forums next month to discuss local government reform and the potential merger with Young and Harden Shire Councils.
Boorowa Council mayor, Cr Wendy Tuckerman has written to all ratepayers to advise them of the importance of providing feedback to assist Council in preparing a submission for the State Government's 'Fit for the Future' initiative by the end of June.
"Council would strongly welcome your assistance to help them make decisions that are right for our future and the first step in doing this is to understand the context of what has been happening with reform," Cr Tuckerman said.
Forums will be held at Boorowa Ex-Services Club on Monday, February 9 and Wednesday, February 11, from 7pm to 9pm; Frogmore Community Hall on Tuesday, February 10, from 7pm to 9pm; and at Rye Park Hall on Thursday, February 12, from 7pm - 9pm.
