Troy has qualified for the Open Bull Ride and will be competing at the event, running from January 22 to January 25.
With 15 years experience behind him, Troy said he's looking forward to the much-anticipated event.
"I'm most looking forward to the good bulls and competing with the best bull riders in the country- the top 15 in Australia will be riding," he said.
"The atmosphere is also really good and it's right in the middle of the country music festival so there'll be thousands of people watching."
After a busy 2014 on the circuit, Troy said he's ready to take on 2015.
"I've chased rodeos all around the country for the last year to get to these national finals," he said.
"I've qualified three times before and I've been to the pro national finals three times before so it's been good."
Troy also impressed on the home stage last year, riding 'Akubra Suicidal' at the Earthmoving-Mick Gorham Rodeo Stampede held in Boorowa in October.
While he's put in the hard work, Troy said none of it would be possible without his sponsors, thanking Caltex Boorowa Service Station, Landmark Boorowa, Crossbuild, Kanga Hardware, Courthouse Hotel, the Cry Hotel in Young, Mogga's Hire, Young Workwear, Ram and Stallion Hotel, Matt Corkhill Engineering, the Boorowa Hotel and Stonehaven.
