Jessica has been selected to represent Australia after playing at a state level for ACT and NSW at several national tournaments' and has been training extremely hard for this opportunity to represent her country.
Jessica also plays for Sydney University every weekend during the year while studying at University of Canberra for a bachelor of physiotherapy.
European Handball is a major sport in Europe and is an Olympic sport, but many Australians think of handball with a tennis ball which is nothing like European Handball.
The game is an immensely intense and physical game and classifies players into four positions covered by seven players on the court at once; it's also the second fastest indoor game in the world.
Australia will be playing eight countries including New Zealand, America and New Caledonia.
Eric will not unfortunately be travelling to New Zealand but will be cheering from home; Jessica's family Cindy, David, Evangeline and Tim will be travelling to support her, we wish Jessica and the team all the best in New Zealand.
