President of the Business Association, Maria Biglands said the group is committed to moving Boorowa forward.
“As the Boorowa Business Association goes into its tenth year of operation in 2015, we find that it is a time to reflect on where we are, what we want to achieve and what we have achieved,” she said.
“The Boorowa Business Association started out as a voice for business during a time of change, being the refurbishment of the streetscape; these days the Boorowa Business Association finds itself being the voice of business in Boorowa on a number of fronts.
“Whether it is working with government at Local and State level or discussing topics of importance with media, we hope to present a fair, collective voice for all business operators in our Shire.
“The Business Awards are a time for us to reflect and listen to public opinion on what we are doing right and what we need to improve in. Listen to your stakeholders tonight and most importantly celebrate the business community of our great shire.”
