CDTWO1 Jordan Short-Hall was nominated for the award by 25 Battalion Headquarters. All Battalions in NSW nominate senior Cadets and they compete for the award.
Jordan was judged by a panel of Senior Cadet Officers and SeniorMembers of the RSL Sub Branch. Subjects include a speech on a common military subject, answering questions on military history, competing in a Drill test and First Aid knowledge.
As well as being awarded NSW Cadet of the Year, Jordan won a 11 day trip on the ship Young Endeavour, presented by the RSL. This is a great achievement for Jordan and Boorowa Cadets.
