It's the big question in Boorowa darts this week. Were the Ex-Services club just foxing in the preliminary rounds and can they take the C-Grade title now the gradings round has commenced. After struggling to record a win all season, the first round of the gradings saw a minor upset when the Ex-Services defeated the Top Pub Irish by 5-2. The Ex-Services team have become known as the real party team of the comp but it was clear by this win that they mean business now the bigger games are here.

The A-Grade saw the competition heavy weights both score convincing wins with the Rec Gold trouncing the Rec Wizards by 7-0. The Wizards are a better team than the score line suggests but the Gold were on song with Rod Neeson throwing nine tons. Rick Bennett was the wizards best with three centuries. In the other game the Top Pub Greenies beat the Top Pub Rebels 5-2 in a game where the Greenies were always in control. Josh was impressive for the Greenies with seven tons whilst Simon Pye was solid with four tons for the Rebels.
In the B-Grade the Horney stallions looked impressive with a 5-2 win over the Mad Rams. Vince Leslie was impressive for the Stallions throwing well including a high 140. The other B-Grade result saw the unpredictable Courthouse beat the Rec Green Devils in a tight one by 4-3.
This week's Top Pub Pleasure pack goes to an unsung hero of the Rec Gold team. In a side choc full of local darting superstars, Peter "Fazz" Farrell continually plays consistent winning darts and is one of the reasons this team is so successful. Well done Pete.
